Three comfortably decorated rooms, situated on one floor, face south across the lake to capture spectacular sunrises that illuminate a section of the 134 mile shoreline.

In the one-acre garden, sitting areas on the shaded lawn along the waterfront and on the pier provide perfect places for relaxation, contemplation, and meditation.

Lake Palestine is a haven for perching birds and pelicans waterfowl and woodpeckers, cardinals and kingfishers. Watch an eagle seize its prey or a heron stalk its catch. In the South - particularly beside a lake birdwatching is exceptional. While many varieties nest in the gardens and frequent the feeders all year, some just drop by for a short visit.

From the pier and boathouse, fishing is excellent for bass crappie, and catfish. There are boat-launching facilities rental boats, fishing guides and lake tours available.

In the mornings breakfast is served buffet style in the upstairs sunroom, on the deck or in the garden between 8:00am 9:00am.
